In 1972, he married the love of his life, Frances Pedison, and together they shared 52 beautiful years of marriage.John was an alumnus of Stephen F. Austin State University and worked with dedication at Walmart for 36 years. Known for his friendly nature and quick wit, John had a knack for making everyone around him feel special. His stories, especially those from his Navy days and his time at the Ginocchio, brought smiles and laughter to many. He was a loyal Marshall Mavericks football fan, a proud supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, and
cheered on the Texas Rangers with passion. John’s joy for life was evident in his love for dancing—especially doing the twist at every party he attended.
Above all, John was a devoted husband, father, and PawPaw, who cherished his family with all his heart. His love and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Johnny and I shared the same birthday date even though I always kidded him that he would always be older than me since he was born a year before me. He loved coming to the reunions and dancing. Rest in peace my old friend.

I was always in awe of the Pedison home and his ties to the Ginochio. My best memories of him are doing the twist at our reunions I also would enjoy talking to him at Walmart; he was always so friendly.
