He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John and Mora Murray; his parents, Ted Storie and Mary Storie; his in-law Jean Jeffrey; his siblings, Becky Storie and Teddie Lee Storie; and his brother-in-law Earl Jeffrey.

He is survived by: his wife Geral Elaine Storie; his brother Steven Storie; his children, Amy McMahan (Earl McMahan) and Paul Storie II (Carla Storie); his grandchildren, Regan Brightwell (Brandon Brightwell), Mason Weaver and Alex Thomas; his great grandchildren, Leo and Lola Weaver; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Jeffrey (Ellen) and Claudia Jeffrey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Center Point Cemetery.
