James Jimmy Michael Nash

MARSHALL James Jimmy Michael Nash, 72, of Marshall, Texas entered Heavens gates while in the loving arms of his wife of 35 years on February 8, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1944 to Robert E. Lee and Wyncie B. Nash in Texarkana, Arkansas. He married Judy Hayner on December 8, 1982. They lived in Mesquite and Lake Tawakoni before moving back to Marshall 18 years ago. He graduated from Marshall High in 1962 and proudly served in the Army National Guard of Texas. Throughout his life, he was known as Mr. Fix It, was a wonderful welder, carpenter and mechanic. He loved spending time outdoors and could always find a project to work on. He enjoyed cooking and was well known for Jimmys Fried Chicken. He loved reading his Bible, could tell the word like a history lesson and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene and Bobby Nash; and father-in-law, Hugh Hayner. He is survived by his wife, Judy Nash; children, Michele (Doug) Kriegel, Michael (Texie) Nash, Michele (Billy) Hunt and Dennis (Patti) Heath; grandchildren, Nathan Kriegel, Kyle (Paige) Kriegel, Tallie Kriegel, Brody Kriegel, Leslie (Daniel) Weir, Dylan Nash, Duncan Nash, Jon Michael Nash, Shane (Megan Mulkey) Heath, Taylor (T.J.) Lemmon, Lane Hunt, Hannah Hunt and Addyson Hunt; great grandchildren Gracey and Blayton Weir; sister, Ann (Jerry) Webb; sisters-in-law, Ann Nash and Debbie Erwin; brother-in-law, Mike Hayner and families; mother-in-law, Betty Hayner; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Little Girl. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10:00 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Marshall Home Care and Hospice, 111 E. Burleson St., Marshall, TX 75670 or to Marshall Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 698, Marshall, TX 75670. So sorry to hear that Jimmy has passed away. We have lost another very good friend and classmate. Wish to his large family our prayers and caring.
