Carlisle Langley

Carlisle Langley

Carlisle Neal Langley was born August 23, 1943, and passed away March 24, 2018.
Carlisle was born in San Diego, California and lived there till the age of 3. He and his family moved to Marshall, TX after the war where he, his brothers, and sister grew up. This was where Carlisle, later, met the love of his life, Dinah Franks Langley.
Carlisle and Dinah got married June 4, 1966. Shortly after, they moved to Hallsville, TX. There they made very sweet and loving memories together, which included the birth of their one and only child, Leslie Carlisle.
Carlisle and Dinah were very involved in their son’s activities and never missed any even or game. Carlisle enjoyed traveling with Les to ride dirt bikes at different Cross Country tracks. He was at every high school game and never missed any of his college football games. He continued those same rituals with his grandkids that he loved so dearly.
Carlisle worked for Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company for 29 years where he retired from. He then went back to work for the United States Postal Service for 15 years and drove a bus for Hallsville ISD for 3 years. Carlisle was a very proud member of Hallsville Church of Christ.
Carlisle is proceeded in death by his dad, Leslie Carlisle Langley; his mother, Juanita Marie Langley; his sister, Anita Lee Langley; his loving wife, Dinah Franks Langley, and his grandson, who he missed every day, Colten Carlisle Langley.
Carlisle is survived by his son, Leslie and his wife Julie Langley; his grad kids, Caleb Langley and Amber Campbell; his three brothers, Stevie Langley and wife Sandra; Leslie Langley and wife, Paulette and Leonard Langley. He is also survived by his two dogs, whom he loved so dearly, Leah (WeeWee) and Digger (DigDig).
The family would like to thank Todd McKee who was more like a son to Carlisle that just a friend. Todd would come to help Carlisle at any time of the day or night with no questions asked.
David Dorgan (PeePaw), who was like a brother to Carlisle, for taking Carlisle wherever he needed to go, and spending countless hours keeping him company.
Joe Hancock for guiding Carlisle through his journey to finding Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Dr. Rangu for showing compassion and Kindness while providing exceptional medical care for Carlisle.
Davita 4th Street for not only providing medical care but for making Carlisle feel so special for the last 9 years.
Memorial services for Carlisle will be held Thursday, March 29 at 10 am and Hallsville Church of Christ. A visitation will be held the night before at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
