Don was a great friend and a really all round nice guy.I had talked to him long after his wife Marie died to ask him how he was doing.We began talking again and he came to Longview and we went to one of the boats for dinner.I had been divorced for some time.During this time Don had several surgeries on his back and was not doing too well...the pain was unbearable.He never got to where he could travel well at all.We had planned to visit again,but that never came to be.His heart was already not the best and I think the stain of the back was too great of a toll.He died from a heart attack.He has a son and daughter..and 3 grandchildren..if that is right..R.I.P.
