Daniel Lewis "Butch" Edwards was born on 12 February 1944 at Opelousas, LA.1 He died on 13 July 2009 at 4:40 PM at Home, Ridgeland, Madison, MS, at age 65; Butch had malignant brain tumor. Surgically removed, radiation and chemo. Was in remission about a year and then it came back. radiation again and began chemo but had to stop due to low platelet count.

You weren't a classmate for a very long time but you became such an integral part of our class. You were fun and a fond memory I have is when you fell asleep under my Christmas tree. I believe you fell asleep talking to me about someone you had a crush on at the time. We will miss you!
