The purpose of this email is to provide additional information and a correction of information to attendees of the 55-year reunion on April 28-29th.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The information sheet that was sent out mentioned "Central Perks" downtown as the location for Friday night. Folks in Marshall sometimes forget that people sometimes remember things as they were, not the way they are now. "Central Perks" is an establishment now in the old Joe Weisman and Co., store at the southwest corner of North Washington and West Rusk. Marshall is so very large that we don't want you to get lost.
CORRECTION:
The Saturday night festivities will be held at Enoch's Stomp winery, just off State Highway 154, about half way between Marshall and Harleton. Enoch's Stomp is regulated by the Texas Alcoholic Beverages Commission. As a result, no one will be able to bring in any alcoholic beverage into the facility. The management serves wines there (darned good ones) which can be purchased if you want something to drink but you will not be able to bring in your cooler or your flask with your own alcoholic beverages.

Directions to ENOCH'S STOMP WINERY
871 Ferguson Road, Marshall, Texas
It's off Hwy 154 (Harleton Highway) on Ferguson Road.
From town, take Highway 80 heading West toward Longview, across the high bridge, stop at the light at Loop 390.
Then:
1.) Turn North (right) on Loop 390 and go to Highway 154 (blinking light) 2.) Turn Left (Northwest) on Hwy 154 (toward Harleton)
3.) Go 10.3 miles on Hwy 154 (past Fugler's Grocery), turn left on Ferguson Road. 4.) Go 0.9 mile on Ferguson Road; Enoch's Stomp is on the left. Call if you need help (903) 240-1587
On Saturday night, remember we are going to Enoch's Stomp Winery. A winery sells wine. They are not a bar and they don't have a beer or liquor license. If you want liquor or beer, you may BYOB . (Maximum of 6 beers per person.) Please be very discreet in bringing beer or liquor in the party room. We will have a cooler where you can ice it down and serve yourself. We will also have ice and Cokes/7Up so you can mix your own drinks. Again, please be discreet.
MOST IMPORTANT: (1) The Harleton Highway is curvy and dark when the sun goes down. (2) You cannot safely drive on a dark, curvy road if you have been drinking. If you plan to consume alcohol on Saturday night, please either carpool or have a designated driver. You are important to us!
